Project: “Market Study of Construction Sector in Albania”
Objective: The impact of the construction sector in the local economy. of the country
A general overview of the sector and its evolution and needs during the recent, also
the investment programs or plans for development of the Government for 2005 and
beyond.
Project Implementation:A set of informations are analysed and provided among others such as: economic and social situation fo the country, position of Italian government in bilatery programs in Albania realted to public and private investments/works in construction field, sdituation of construction sector and others such as infrastructure accessibility, turism market and potentials, access to both national and international markets, incentives and institutional supports given in construction market. The relevant data have been collected through interviews with a sample group of 100 SME-s, in order to measure to what extent mentioned indicators are fulfilled related to construction sector. Other topics the study has analysed such as: Real Estate market, Labor market in cosntruction sector, financial operators and founding sources, fiscal framework, international programs of construction in Albania, etc. The study was presented in the bilatery Meeting Italy & Albania in Rome December 2005.
