Project background: Consortium of Regional Development Agency of Tirana and Balance run the project “Capacity Building on business competencies and skills for self-employment.”

Implementation: The team of experts provides a full range of professional training services (based on CEFE methodology), since the purpose of this consultancy is to provide capacity building and coaching on business start-ups through CEFE methodology to strengthen the capacities of 300 identified and selected people affected by migration in 13 municipalities across Albania, namely in: Tirana (Administrative units of 1, 4, 8, 9, 11), Kamëz, Dibra, Gjirokastra, Korça, Maliq, Përmet, Përrenjas, Vlorë, Mirditë, Kurbin, Belsh, Cërrik.

Results & findings:

Through the application of the CEFE methodology the consortium enables individual coaching to selected participants, and help them to develop a basic business plan.

• Develop and implement the 6 days-business development training programmes in each city/municipality
• Train at least 300 identified/selected affected people by migration in Kamëz, Dibra, Gjirokastra, Korça, Maliq, Përmet, Përrenjas, Vlorë, Mirditë, Kurbin, Belsh, Cërrik with the application of the CEFE methodology
• Enhance the capacities of 300 selected cases (returned migrants) in starting and/or improving the existing businesses and enhancing business development capacities through growth and business consolidation of individuals who received training.
• Provide coaching to 100 selected participants to support them to develop a basic business plan. The business development training part was divided in two modules.
